About (the real) us

Exploration

We feel the most alive when we're off to explore something new.

The element of novelty and the unpredictable nature of discovery fuel us with energy and excitement we rarely find anywhere else. It may be diving with whales in the middle of the Pacific, going to Burning Man for the first time, or cruising with an incredible music set. These are just a few examples of discoveries that give us inspiration and infuse our perspectives with something different.

But that's not all. Alongside these experiences, we're constantly researching and learning. We create space to explore all forms of knowledge which we think can offer new insights. We listen to podcasts with people who widen our horizons. We search the web to find those who share what they do best. And when we find something that catches our attention, we learn from it.

It may seem like everyone else does it. But for us, whether it's experiences or learnings, we don't go for whatever is out there. On the contrary, we intentionally curate what we allow in. This is what leads us to the rarer finds — those that are harder to come by, yet are the most enriching.

It's by having this mindset of exploration and curiosity that we developed our distinct taste, character and intuition.

Making impact

Together, we've been actively exploring for the last 10 years. But what is exploration if its insights are not shared?

Most of what we know today is because of what others have chosen to share with us. We saw firsthand the effect it had on our lives. Only by giving, do we make an impact. And impact gives us fulfillment.

Now, it's our turn to build something and make an impact on others.

Following our intuition

It's not an easy decision to leave our private equity careers behind to pursue the uncertain.

But this is a time in our life when we've seen, explored and learned enough to understand what direction we want to take. And we have the energy and excitement to go for it.

We are following our intuition. It's telling us to find connections between things that make us feel the most excited.

It has never failed us before, and we trust it won’t fail us now.
